Corona Virus Updates

Dear Members of Delray Orthodox Synagogue,
Because there have been cases of COVID-19 in Palm Beach County, the risk to human life is significant. We believe that we must be vigilant and do all we can to minimize social contact, which will help reduce the spread of the virus. Be aware that the virus stays active on surfaces for days or longer.
With that as our priority, and against the backdrop of shul and yeshiva closures in our community and throughout the United States and the world, the Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all minyanim and activities at Delray Orthodox Synagogue. Sometimes the right thing to do is also the hard thing to do. We need to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.
Immediately after Shacharit on Friday, March 13th, the building will be closed.
The situation will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks based on the status of the COVID-19 virus and the worldwide pandemic.
Our tefillot continue to be with those who are suffering from this illness.
